A little Help Needed

Hi guys,

I've been playing guitar for 2 years on and off, self - taught. I had been trying to play enrique - hero for months, getting no where. But only last week I could play it with ease and sweet child o mine which I would never dream of playing, last months, just too fast. I played that with ease as well. Talking to a friend I found I was grade 2 on guitar, playing grade 5 peices, does this mean I'm good. Can anyone tell me what all these grades mean.

I know exactly your way of thinking. When i was like you i always went on youtube looking at guitarist 50x better than me witch made me feel behind. In my eyes theres no such thing as how far you should be or anything just keep up the rock and aslong as your in the guitarist community... Anyway i know people who are so good at grades but when it commes to playing with a band there usless, grade is just proof on paper. However, there worth checking out in the future if ya wana get somewhere.
