Hi.

....I'm at it again with a view to making less mistakes than last time.

No blog.

anyway....I was thinling of using a 2 vol 1 tone NO SWITCH circuit like a Fender Jazz Bass.

See Here: http://www.acmeguitarworks.com/pdf/%2775_jazz_diagram.pdf

Is there any reason why suich a circuit is nor suitable for a guitar?

Why am I thinking this? Because it is a fairly small & thin guitar.

Hi Robbo, I couldn't find the software to look at the diagram - unfortunately

But if it works on a jazz bass, I don't see why it shouldn't work

If there is problems put in a switch...

I'm not happy about the way that circuit handles grounding, and I suspect there is a fair bit of inter-action between the volume controls.

If size is your main concern, an Alco Switch MTA 206PA is what you need. It's a miniature On-On-On double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) switch that does some useful things in the centre position. It's about the size of a sugar cube, but it will perform the same functions as the bulky leaf-spring type of switches that are more common.

My favourite supply house >Digi-Key don't carry Alco, but lists several equivalents from other marques.

Good luck!
