Well im new to the site, and its been pretty usefull so far, been working on some of the speed excersises, and a few metal tunes, its a great site, i think ill learn a lot here. I checked this site this morning before i went out to buy a new guitar to play instead of my stratocaster, anyway you guys can let me know what you think about my find today :)

Ibanez sa260fm with sexay honey burst details, new off the rack for $420 on sale.

Also grabbed a new pedal (Digitech RP90 Modeling Guitar Processor) for $99, and a bunch of guitar polish, fretboard conditioner, cloths .... The digitech pedal makes my ****ty little crate sound kickass though, suprised the hell outta me :)

Congrats man, awesome looking guitar.

I love the color and woods.

I never owned a RP90 but I've neard many used it. Like you said, they are often surprising.

BENOIT!!! Thanks man, your lessons are the ones that got me buying a new guitar and playing again, my dad showed me this site a few weeks ago, and played your Metal Lesson 3 song for me, i was addicted to playing again since i heard it !!! Thanks a ton for the inspiration!

I think you'll definitely be happy with the RP90. I've got an RP250, and I love it. I run it through a Crate GT80 and get some great sounds out of it. It's a lot of fun just to play around with, too.

personally I've never been a fan of guitars with 3 single coil pickups (one reason I don't like strats). I always figure if you're going to go with those kind of pickups, you might as well have two double coil because you get more power when you want it, but I've never actually played a 2 single and 1 double coil guitar. I am a big fan of ibanez though, so I might have to try one out next time I'm at the store.

as far as the finish, it looks gorgeous. I really like when the head matches the body like that
