Hi, I was going through the various steps here at GT. So far so good. However, when I arrived at learning the Pentatonic scales, there is no video. What's going on? I had the impression all the lessons will have video. What I had to go through were lots of numbers. I tried, but still don't understand what the heck the instructor was trying to explain.
Can someone help pls?

As you've found... not all the lessons have video, but most do.

Can you post a link to the lesson you're talking about?

Some lessons have video, some don't. If you want an exercise for pentatonic scales try this tutorial which does have videos:

In those lessons I am showing you - by means of fretboard images and the text - how to visualize pentatonic scales. And more: to use them to better visualize any scale across the entire fretboard.

Furthermore, if you type "pentatonic" into the search engine for the site you will get lots of other lessons you might be interested in:

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the other video lessons.

Don't you think GT should have videos available for all lessons? I mean, if I want to read, I'll go buy a book or just visit different guitar websites. The main reason I sign up for guitar lessons like this one is to find easier and manageable ways of learning how to play the guitar.

Learning by visualizing is a lot easier, especially if you can also hear what the instructor is saying. Hopefully, GT can make all lessons with video available.

I made a video today with an animated guitar neck which plays 5 positions for the G pentatonic scale.

No lesson, per se, just the visual to play along with.

Pentatonic Video.

Cheers,

SarinaJ :)

Thank you SarinaJ for the great visual aid. I briefly watched the video and will check more of them. Thanks again so much!
