Hey, what's going on?

At a semi-local (45-ish minutes) music store I spotted a Godin Freeway Floyd.
I asked one of thier staff how much it was and apparently they can sell it to me for $350!!!(they need the money bad) It also comes with an incredibly, fabulously, amazing case.

Anyways, I didn't get/have time to try it out; I'm planning on it this weekend.

I originally intended on buying a Jackson KE3 Kelly but the price and spec of this thing blows me away, and if the guitar does too....it'll be mine  .

So what do ya think, great buy?

Cheers, (username).

Sorry, I don't know Godin guitars... but check out the harmony central reviews here - looks like one of the guys had issues with the setup, but they seem to think well of the guitar, and the $350 looks like a good deal based on what they paid...

Hope it plays well when you try it out... :)

Just to let you guys know, I got the Godin last Saturday (the 12th) and kicks a$$! The pickups are very high output, but I think the bridge is a bit weak; which is why I'm going to replace it sometime with a Dimebucker (tried and loved:)). The neck is fairly thin but still very comfy, the floyd is awesome: it only changes tunings with my knowledge :p ;).

Now I'm saving up for a Randall RX75R amp, thanks for the help you guys.

oh, and Ultimate Guitar still rocks!!
