Hey i am basically a beginner and was wondering what amp setting and/or effect you need to get the right sound for the solo in dead or alive... More specifically the parts with major bending. Thanks

More of that bending tone is about what he is doing with the pick than the tone itself. He's creating a pinch harmonic by hitting the string with his pick and his finger, most likely his thumb. Sure, there will be some particular setup that he is using for the tone of guitar.. but it's just a variation on a standard distortion setup. I'm just saying that most of a particular style of playing is about what the guitarist is doing his/her hands are doing.. not so much about the effects and setup as you might think.
