I am having a real problem with that progression especially with the AbMaj7 chord - it sounds 'really' out to me! In fact, I am really having trouble just listening to the backing track because it sounds so out. I also cannot hear the change to the G7 chord - it's probably because my ears are totally made out of wood :(.
