I'm looking for some good acoustic covers to learn. I've been playing about 7 years, and just finnished learning 'hey there delilah'. I like it because it's the kind of song you don't need anything special for, just a guitar and your voice. I like songs that are more like ballads, like Santa Monica by Theory of a Dead Man, etc. Suggestions would be appreciated

well its not current but blackbird by the Beatles is good and its a solo piece with
just a vocalist and an acoustic guitar and well some birds chirping
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.

Not that challenging, but there's "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. I know, Kansas who?

If you like mountain rag, try "Deep River Blues" by Doc Waston or "Freight done my Chet Atkins. How about "Beaumont Rag" by Bryan Sutton?
