Came back from a 'Techno/Disco' establishment with my ex classmates.
Had to get all the non-stop pounding beats out of my head. So I recorded this one , both parts were done in one take (yeah, those clicks are my noisy pick-up selector switching..haha) and it took me about 45 minutes to finish the entire thing....the mix and final limiting.
The recording quality is really any engineer's nightmare ! But I thought it would be fun to post this - I got a few more of these poorly recorded 'just gtr' pieces ;)

PS: I am not trying to say Techno is bad, but just that I have not aquired the taste for it yet. I don't mean any offence to folks who love this type of music.

Nearly lost me at the beginning, took a while to get started but there is some graet lead work in there man. Track seriously gets going after a few bars- lovelu diminished souding chromatic runs - the whole mid section is really cool. Reckon you could pull a crazy track out of sections of this, some drums and a beefed up rhythm/bass line.

Getting 'lost' at first ? well, I was too! I was quite disorientated when I recorded this. Actually wanted to redo the whole lead track when I heard the first playback.
Yeah, these 'gtr-only' little pieces are like my draft board, when I'm running out of ideas, I always go back to these and pick out stuffs I can use .
btw: Soundclick is really good now. Unlimited uploads...but the down side is, they limit each somg to just 10mb. Most of my songs are more than that. Guess I'll still keep the Mp3unsigned site - to put all my 'epics' ..hahah.

LOL, I like to get 'disoriented' too when I sit down to play guitar late at night, great for the creativity;-) Good job though, Happy New Year man.
