Drop tuning is not hard but you have to re-learn certain methods. I've never been a tab fan so I usually create or learn on the fly that way it's more my style then simply copying someone elses.

Just remember that if you are going to drop C you will need heavier gauge strings or it will be "floppy". Your action and intenation will need to be adjusted as well. As for guage of strings, every guitar is different and you will have to find what works with yours. If you are doing drop D there is really very little if any adjustment you will need......hopefully.
