Hey everyone,

After retiring from the alto-sax a year ago, I needed a new hobby. My best friend would always sit down and play his acoustic in front of me all the time. He even just picked up an electric. He took online lessons, and he plays extremely well.

So, I find my brothers acoustic (that he never touched once), found a pick, and did my best at tuning. The shoulder strap is missing, so I'll see if I can find it or just buy a new one.

I guess here I am, in the wonderful world of guitar.

What's nice about the guitar is that you don't have to put it together (like the alto sax), you can just pick it up and play it freely.

I'll try my best! =P

Welcome to GT dude, first of all, what style of music do you listen to?
Since you are just starting out, you should definitely look into some private lessons. They really help you progress quickly if you want it bad enough. Just remember HAVE FUN!
