Hello all,

I am new to the world of guitar and i have been playing for 3 months. I have been renting an acoustic and am now interested in buying an electric. The particular model that i am looking at is the Brighton Santa Fe One @ the guitar world. Any thoughts opinions and advice would be appreciated

THX,

Hi Seen. Welcome to GT. :)

I'm not familiar with that guitar but stick around, I am sure that the resident experts will gladly weigh in with opinions and advice.

Again, welcome.

I started on a USD 22.22 China made Kapok (acoustic guitar). Good enough for a start. Nothing Else Matter intro did sound like Nothing Else Matter - at least to my ear :p

Went to a lot of guitar shop and all, if they doesn't have an electric left handed - they would have only one and very expensive brand - for a 3rd worlder. And I already went to something like 6 shop.

Going to go to another one this weekend just to look around. If I wasn't mistaken, I think ESP has a cheaper starter kit (RM 600) compared to Yamaha Gigstarter (or was it Gigmaker?) at (RM 1100) (note that USD 1 = RM 3.6 ).

The problem is that when I asked about left handed starter kit, their answer like there isn't one, have to order and the price has to be increased like 40%, or they just say "why don't you buy this (famous and expensive) left handed guitar and other thing you need - it equal the starter kit (except the price part).

But next year I will definitely have electric guitar - and my own indie Hip Hop album (don't ask).

Check out www.craigslist.com You can get just about anything there and it's free to use. Most of the stuff is used, but I sold and gave away something via craigslist.

Good day!
