new guitar purchase help

Hello All
I am a beginner guitar player and am looking at getting an electric hard body but am a bit nervous on spending any money with little knowledge. I have an acoustic but would like to have both depending on my mood.
I am interested in an Ibanez ARX120 and am wondering if anybody has it or can speak about it. Any help would be great.

I've not played that one specifically, but from what I understand, it's identical besides the paint job to one that I have played. Worth way more than the $300 most places ask for it.

Hello, Ibanez in my opinion is a great choice. I play a Custom S 540 and my co guitarist plays a S 470 (he has two of these). We also have a RG110 which is a hard tail, this is not an expensive guitar but plays very nice. We bring it to all the Gigs as a back up and it works just fine. Bang for the buck, you can't beat Ibanez IMO. Good luck and have a Merry Rockin Christmas, Bill Kelley
