Keyboard amp and my bass

Hey I just bought a Kc-550 and seeing as it has 4 channels and I thought I would try playing my bass through it (I don't have a synth yet, I'm working on it) and I was wondering how well this will work. I know that being a keyboard amp it is going to be very "sterile", I guess is the word, compared to a normal bass amp but I am thinking that with a eq pedal and some distortion pedal in front it will work out.

Anyway I eventually want to use it with a synth, mic (it has one mic input on channel 1) and my bass, basically using it as a pa. Hopefully I will be able to afford a synth sometime soon.

So I was just wondering what you guys thought and if you had any experience with this/suggestions on the matter.

I don't have a bass amp obviously I have been occasionally playing it through my old RMS 8" speaker, 30 watt guitar amp that I started out on and have effectively ****ed it.

I wish i could afford things but college is a bitch.
