So why the hell can't I live the life the way I want to.
I throw my jars in the garbage...I toss out cans.... I burn my food scraps...I never separate stuff for recycling....
Hell... I pay for my lifestyle.... why the hell should I follow the governments rules on how to live my life?

I'm biting my tongue on this one. Though I agree global warming is a farce and I to do not separate my trash as well. I totally agree, Mr. Taylor, you should be allowed to live anyway you wish as long as it's within the law and not hurting anyone. I totally disgree with some things you stated as fact and some of your justifications for as you put it, 'live the way I want to'.

Man! I know you guys don't care much for my opinions and it's really hard not to jump in here, but I'm not saying anymore. Not one word more. I respect your opinion and that's all I have to say. I'm not say anything more.

Oh, what the heck!

They say the melting icebergs are causing the water level to raise. Try is:
Fill a glass full of ice to where is above the brim. Now fill the glass with water to the brim. Some of the ice will fall out because, duh, ice floats. Discard the ice that fell out. Wait for all the ice to melt and post the results. Did the water flow over the glass and onto the table (increasing the water level) or did all the water, including the melted ice, remain in the glass (decrease the water level or maintain the same water level)? Allow for the moisture that will be condensating on the outside of the glass.

Also, did you know that there is more forestry in the world now than back in the 1800's? It's true. Its just more condensed (check out any forestry website) The forestry is not spread out as much. Did you know here in the US we not only replace every tree cut for construction, but we also plant new trees not only here in the US, but in many other countries? Did you know where trees were destroyed for "Strip Mining" in Kentucky, Ohio, & Tennessee are now filled with mature healthy trees. Did you know that more trees are lost by natural causes (fire, disease, drought, etc.) than are cut for construction or for building sites?

Farmers do not clear a forest for planting. As you know farmers may cut down a few trees to increase their yield, but did you know they plant far more oxygen producing plants than those few trees could ever produce. Did you know that their crops not only feed people in the US, but also throughout the world and make very little profit for their efforts?

Did you know that every place our representatives in Washington has to go are in walking distance of the Capital Building and yet almost all drive or are driven to each of them? This includes the fantastic gym facility, that we tax payers provide for them and where some go to work out daily.

As stated before, there are nature causes for temperature changes. Our life style has little or nothing to with it. Sure there are things we can do be better stewards of this plant we call Earth, but pushing scare tactics and pressuring us into it is not the way to do it. I think even Mr. Taylor would help out, if he wasn't antagonized.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

Try to have a nice day! :)
