I've played the Hellraiser C1 which is fairly similar (same wood, just different cutouts and neck pickups) and I'm actually planning on getting it in a month or so. I already own a C1 classic and its a wonderful guitar. Shecter makes amazing guitars at a great price, their high end $900 models would be priced at $1500 if they were made in the US. The only concern is the active pickups, if your into metal and rock they're great, but they're not the best for clean stuff. Then again, Zakk Wylde uses 81/85's and he has a great blues and clean tone though that could be due to the bid body of the Les Paul and sweet sweet chorus pedal.

Once again get it, you will not be dissapointed. String that sucker with some heavy gauges to really rip it open.

Been using the Hellraiser C-1 for about a month now and have to say it really plays extremely well.....has the 81/85 active pickups and does a fine job.
