j5 custom telecaster

i was thinking about getting a new guitar and this one looks like something id really like does anyone kno if i should get this guitar or something else?

For the many years I've been at GT I have heard this question asked (about different guitars) hundreds of times. The best answer is always the same. You take your budget and go down to the local guitar shop and try as many in your range as you can get your mitts on. Rest assured you will find your next new guitar but you may just be surprised what you walk out with. :)

Also, if you decide on a US Tele for example.... make sure you play every single one in the store - there are significant variations in quality even within a brand and model.

When I went to the store to buy a tele I ended up buying a US Ash in natural when I went in with a very different picture. It sounded so much sweeter than the others...

I'd suggest you get a strat, I hate telecasters, that's just my opinion though... Anything you can do with a tele is done better on a strat..

What does that one cost, so you can give us an idea of your budget, then we can make suggestions for you in this price range.
