I m sure this is the right place for this post but i wouldnt be offended if its moved, I have been playing with recording my own sound through my computer and I am wonder what some of the audio effects will do, Such as a AUhigh pass or low pass, a dynamic equilizer , those sorts of things

I am trying to make my sound much cleaner and fuller, I use an acoustic guitar and I have been playing with my mic placement and it makes a difference to play with the acoustics of my room, but when you record the sound, it feels so "dead". The very full sound of my guitar gets lost somewhere along the road i guess.
