I have been messing around with a LaGrange/Satch Boogie hybrid jam.

Here's the first mix results.

Hehehe, no satch's around my neighborhood, that I know of.

Yeah, it's fun to play and at 180bpm, it's a handfull to try and play without screwing up too much.
There's some screw ups in there, but I just let them go. :D

Hey super,
Not sure why the link didn't work for you.
I just tried it and it was ok.

Try it again, maybe the server was burping at the time.

Right click and choose "Save target as"
When I click on mp3 links, that freaking quicktime tries to play them even though quicktime is not registered as my .mp3 file player.
I always save them to my hard drive and then play them in winamp.

I don't have soundclick or any other way to listen, since I have my own servers.

loved it man!!! Bravo lol XD. I've been looking at some line 6 gear for recording that plugs into your pc and theres built in affects for your guitar. Even tho pc sound is normaly rubbish... trust me this is exelent and great recording and softwere that come too. Also fairly cheap. Im going to get one because my guitar teacher had one and showed me it, so hopfully i will make some recording like you and put together an album. Thanks for sharing this with us, I realy enjoyed it.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

I am not using an external piece of gear like a line6/pod, etc.
I am using an external tube pre amp, but that's just a nice warm sounding preamp set very clean.

Guitar Rig is computer amp simulation and effects software.
Here's a link with GR info

Hey Doug, i was just surfing some of the older posts looking for backing tracks, and I came across your Crush of Love take. Ive been playing with this one as well, although of course im nowhere near your level...i cant seem to get the tone or effects right so i decided to try out the demo for Guitar Rig 3 . Love the interface, but couldnt get any sound, not sure why, suspect i have the input settings wrong. Ive got a POD running to an MI Audiophile24 sound card then to my mixing board. Tried everything with no luck...any ideas?

Try to get sound first by setting up the ASIO for your soundcard in Guitar rig.
Then make sure all the proper volume sliders are up in the windows mixer.

I use a Creative SB audigy card and choose the Creative ASIO driver in Guitar rig.
I send a line level signal into my SB sound card from my guitar pre amp and so I make sure the line in slider volume level is up about 90%.

You should see an input level meter move when you have the input into guitar rig set properly.

I have some info on my web site here about those setups.
http://www.el34world.com/Misc/Music/SoundPage1.htm

good luck.
I can give you my GR presets that I use if you get GR running.
I think you only get 30 minutes to try it though, which isn't much./
