Hey everybody. I have a question about fingering arpeggios on my bass. When I am playing a major argeggio and I am trying to barre my pinkie to play the 5th and octave, The 3rd string from the root (where the octave is) falls under mt knuckle and I can't fret the string. I have tried rotating to play the barre with the side of my finger, but I can't find a position that works. When I try to finger the 2 notes on the separately I lose ALOT of speed. The best technique that I have found so far is to change positions and slide up the neck.
