I know it's hard to get anyone to comment these days. Geez, all we want is some feedback right (and not the unwanted kind)... OK so the playing on your track is pretty tidy mix of pop and prog that is nicely placed (not overbearing). Nice dreamy intro. And your soloing ability is very good - and the tone is nice too. This song (Best Friends) kind of reminded me of a late 80's pop/prog rock ballad. The only thing that annoyed me a little about it was the amount of reverb on the vocal and that the vocal sometimes sounded thin and overall lacked dynamics - often trailing off at the end of phrases. With a little work and more emotion/dynamic in that department you will have a cool unit.
