help!custom settings for zoom 606

hi!this is quite embarassing,im new in using zoom 606,i use a boss mt-2 before and it was stolen from me,help!need advice for a good distortion sound using a zoom 606,can u give me advice or tips in setting the patches,gain,and how i can make the distortion heavy and tight and the same time clean,my settings were muddy and the notes cant pass through,and it sounded bad on my amp.im not good in creating custom settings.thanks :D
