No Avatar!

I'm new, and I'm setting up my profile. I have an image for uploading, but it won't let me do ANYTHING Avatar-wise. I can set everything else up, but I can't upload my own avatar. It won't even let me have an avatar setting! I can't get the bullethole to go away. Y'know, where it asks if you want an avatar? PLEASE HELP!

Max you should get full access...its awesome I've learned SOOOO much in the 3 months I've been here...Awesome site.

Cant blame this on full acces. I am a new full access member and I am also unable to save changes to custom avatar. I see this issue goes back to at least 2018, that makes it at least a 4 yr old issue. I see some members have custom avatars so the process must work for some. How long before this gets fixed?

Same here... can't upload a picture for the avatar, no response after asking for help twice.
