Gibson ES-137 Classic?

Hello. I'm thinking about a new guitar and my first thoughts were toward a Les Paul Standard but I recently saw a Gibson ES-137.

Unfortunately, I was not able to play it.

Does anyone have any input on a new Gibson ES-137 Classic? They are available at GC http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_gibson_es137_classic_electric_guitar?full_sku=517196%2e039%2e829 and I'm hoping to check one out soon.

My playing preference is rock/blues.
