How do you pick the triplets on a blues shuffle?
is it down-up-down down-up-down...etc. so that the beat falls on an downstroke? or is it alternate picking so that the beat falls on downstroke and then on a upstroke?
Down by the river

Use the down up down up then as your doing this just,
say to your self triplet, triplet, triplet ect.
Plus keep the beat going while doing the triplets.

When possible always try to emphasize the downbeat w/a downstroke. My vote would be down up down, down up down (when faesible)

Could'nt that be called accenting the down-stroke Chris?
Also i think the best way if you don't know how to,
do a triplet is learn it useing 1 note.
