Modern AIC?

So I believe I got tickets to Alice in Chains and Velvet Revolver today. I told my friend to buy me one anyways....

I was just wondering if anyone has seen AIC since the death of Layne. I find it hard to believe it could be even close to the same...Kinda makes me sad just typing this.

I will be sure to let you know what I think when I go, but just wondering what to expect. I'm a huge AIC fan so I'm not getting my hopes up much.

I haven't heard anything yet by a new AIC. Didn't even hear about it until your post. Thanx for the info. (Did they name a Vocalist, or is it still just guest appearances)? I hope they can create something that has some impact by their talented mojo together, even if it has a different guidance in creativity. It's sad to think that when one member (especially the frontman) dies or departs, so does the career of all surviving members who worked so hard to get there. Redemption has happened in the past (though very few). We all may be happily surprised. Let's hope, what a great Band...

There was a thing in Guitar World quite a while back naming Phil Anselmo as the new AIC singer....I dunno if that's still who it is though.

New lead singers name is William Duvall.
