I remember learning some ACDC growing up. Those were always fun to play. Maybe back in black.
I've always liked Iron Maiden, Something off Fear of the Dark (they were easier song.. that I can remember).
Metallica .. the Black Album.

Yes ACDC songs are great for developing solid rhythm. Most of their songs have a few different rhythm parts which sound great and aren't too hard. And you can keep knockin' out the chords while Angus solos!

right right.... but thats the problem im a HUGE AC/DC fan i now the basic riffs for back in black, live wire, dog eat dog, if you want blood(you've got it), and all of Highway to Hell (exept solo or the rythm while angus does the solo) i know the intro to enter sandman and i want to learn an easy metal/rock with no solo so i can play a complete song. if you guyz can tell me a song like that i would be so happy :p

This is just off the top of my head, so it may be a really dumb suggestion, but how about "We're not gonna take it" by Twisted Sister. There is a solo in it, but if memory serves, it is not a very difficult one, and it doesn't sound too hard to play. That is just by my ear, though, so I could be totally wrong, I'm just going by my memory of hearing the song.
I remember my little sister dragged me to a Twisted Sister concert right after "We're not gonna take it" came out. Y&T opened for them, promoting their "In Rock we Trust" album, and the guitarist for Y&T played about a 5 minute solo that was phenomenal. After that, just about everything that TS did sounded pretty simple!!!
Another suggestion, how about Detroit Rock City by Kiss. Again, I've never seen chords, but the solo seems relatively simple, and it doesn't sound like there's much difficult in the song.
I probably just made myself look like an ignorant fool, so take my thoughts for whatever their worth!!! :)
Peace,
Tom

There are a lot of easy metal songs out there to choose from;
"Breaking the Law" or "Living after Midnight" by Judas Priest for example.........
Pretty much anything by Motley Crue, Ratt and even the Punky sounding stuff like "Ramones" are easy to play.
The problem for me is that I get bored playing it, even though it may be good song that I enjoy.
The trick that worked and kept my interest in playing a song, were the changes from the Intro, verse, chorus, Bridge, etc... in the progression to stimulate the mind along with your playing.
An easy song that comes to mind is "High 'N' Dry" (early Def Leppard).
I enjoy playing it because the song has changes and just stomps.......
Both rhythm and lead are fun to play. Another song they have is "Wasted" off the "On through the night" LP. It's good for easy mechanics, going from a nice riff into a chord structure and finishing with a little lick.
But it does become repetitive (It shows what Mutt Lange brought to the band by producing "High 'N' Dry" and breaking that repetitive cycle).
"Breaking the Law" has a fun easy Intro riff, then........................Boring IMO (This song doesn't a solo in it, so it may be what you're looking for).
There's just no way that I could play "Back in Black" all the way through and still be awake....(Bet Angus couldn't either without those added solos and tons of licks).
My advice is to choose songs that keep your enthusiasm and it will show through how you're playing them .........................

Also, I was sat in front of the TV noodling and discovered that pretty much all Marilyn Manson (sp?) songs are very simple...
mOBSCENE was one I just started playing along to without realising. His version of Tainted Love is 4 chords as I recall, and aside from the riff 'Sweet Dreams' is very simple too... VH1 was doing a special...

You don't have to play the solo if you don't want. Just switch to playing the rhythm guitars part.

Yep, the only thing really difficult about his songs is trying to get the sounds, especially for solo's. He likes his stuff loud and crazy.
