Okay, I am looking for a really romantic sounding, somewhat slower paced acoustic song... and one that could be learned realitively quickly. Any ideas? O and if there is any lessons on here that teach some more romantic sounding acoustic licks or w/e, feel free to point them out to me.

The reason why: Ill never tell ;)

Other than just performance value it's prolly not romantic, but by request of my brother I recently learned River of Deceit by Mad Season. May not look familiar, but it got lots of airplay and you'll recognize it if you don't. Easy lil pulloffs and mostly a 2 chord song with fills and chorus.

Otherwise maybe a classical study. There's even one called Romance, but it takes some practice. But there's other ones that are easy to pick up quick.
Look at lesson 2, Allegro. Nice rolling melody.

'Wonderful Tonight'... all you need to do is arpeggiate G,D & C chords and play the little lead lick if you fancy it. For bonus points throw your own solo in after the bridge G7 bit.

It works...

Try "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's....
Looks like it's in the key of D and pretty straight forward. Just simple Major and minor Triads;;; D- F#m- G- A- Bm
Good Luck................

Hey thraxion- here's a couple of really great acoustic love songs

1) "More Than You'll Ever Know" by Michael Ruff
2) "I'll Always Love You" by Michael Johnson
3) "You Were There" by Southern Sons
3) "I Live My Life For You" by Firehouse
4) "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg
5) "One Friend" by Dan Seals

Let me know if this helps. If you need more songs I still have a lot more in mind. I'm the king of ballads- learned a lot from those years when I used to work as one of those guys who would serenade those beautiful women in beauty pageants and stuff.
"Lets see… well I play the guitar and when I'm not playing the guitar, I think about playing the guitar. My other favorite instrument, is the guitar and if I aspired to play any other instrument, it would be the guitar...

I can’t sing so I sing through my guitar. So when the sound guy says: “Your guitar is too loud!” I think: "Why does he never say that to the vocalist?"
