The ONLY problem Explorers have is the crappy plastic jackplate. You will want to go buy a metal one at Guitar Center; its worth the $7. The plastic ones aren't very sturdy and all it takes is just a year or so of normal use before the corners will start cracking and eventually it'll break and the jack will sag by the wire.

ALso be careful with pulling on a cord thats in the jack for those little screws are pretty tiny and one hard tug from trying to walk and stepping on the cord is all you need to dislodge the screws and strip the holes (Please don't make me tell you how I found this out).
