help with name

Hello. Im fairly new to this forum and I am in a band that was once called redway. My band now want to chang the name to zero space but I dont cair much for it. Well I was wondering if you guys can help us with a name thats cool and goes with the Bible or has a good meaning behind it. thanks :cool:

I'm afraid it's no good coming to me for biblical references... got any recordings we can hear? I personally find nearly all names for bands sound crap without the association the band brings.

I reckon you need to concentrate on not making it seem like you tried too hard. If your band was called 'Adam' and you kicked ass, no one would care that the band name was Adam, just that 'Adam' are cool. If you call it 'Adam, and his bemusement at being cast from Eden', people probably won't turn up - they'll have died of laughter reading one of your flyers!

No real help (and a terrible example), just a suggestion not to be too clever...

We were originally going to call our (recently-started) band something Biblical as well - we thought Uriel, Ezekiel, and Silent Voice (an allusion to the first story in Samuel) were all decent names.

ya could always reverse it and call yourselves 'Space Zero'. somehow it doesn't sound as cheezy as Zero Space.

Here's a few more; Leviticus, Governor, Obadiah, Covenant, Leper Colony, Redeemer.

The letter Z has (I believe has impact) So either Z word is good for me.

Hmm. How about 'Final Judgment' or 'The Trials of Job'?

Who's afraid of a leaf????? Even a little Ladybug will take down a leaf and devour it. Leaf is already associated by fear, ie. "Shakin like a Leaf"........

How about 'God Boy' - easy to remember, people know the expression, depending on the music and how you present the image and lyrics it could be used as a double meaning - not just a bible believer but as a superhero deity? IMagine the flyer, a cartoon image of a kid in superman pose dressed in a white sheet with a halo on - priceless!

how bout something like "the return" or "black exodus" black exodus really doesnt mean anything together cause exodus was just a book of the bible just sounds cool or maybe " black mass" which sounds pretty cool but im not sure if its already been takin
