Hi All,

I guess this is a basic - posture. I seem to be playing a lot sitting down at the moment - teaching, recording, jamming at home with friends. I find that pretty much no matter what position I pick, or how I vary it I end up with legs so dead it's a struggle to walk, and I can't feel them (feet feel real heavy, but tingling). It seems to be happening more recently - maybe my circulation is getting worse with age... ;)

When I am sat down I'll move between my foot being on the floor and raised, having the guitar on either leg, and sometimes crossing the leg with the guitar on it over the other. All to try to get comfortable - if I just sit with my foot on a stool and the guitar on that leg so it's at the right height, this still happens..... To be fair I lose track of time and I might be sat for hours, but how often do I need to get up and move around if it's just that?

I dunno. Anyway - just wondered if any of you guys have experienced this or have better knowledge of anatomy than me and can tell me how to avoid it, or how to shake it off the fastest.
