Song Title Question
In some classical music song titles, you'll see "Op. 19: Moderato", as an example. Does anyone know what "Op. 19" or Op. with any number means? I've been curious about that. Thanks.

Op. is the abbreviation for Opus, which translates as "The Composer's Work". The numbers have various meanings and some composers use them differently by codal systems.
For the most part, they organize the composer's output, usually in chronological order.
