Ya, it was after the release of "The Gold Experience", 1994, when Warner Bros. Trademarked the name "Prince". The company owns the name Prince and all music related to marketing under the name.
He has written hits for many artists like, Sinead O'Connor "Nothin Compares 2U. When his hit "kiss" reached #1 on the Billboard Charts, the hit "Manic Monday" was @ #2, which he wrote for The Bangles.
He's doing a concert series titled "21 nights in London", starting Aug. 1 @ the
02 Arena (?) (I wonder if that's the strange "UFO" looking Millenium Dome near Greenwich)? 15 concerts sold out in a few hours, so they added more nights named "The Final 6" ending late Sept.
