Dieter Libuda (ex (?) exciting cafe / austria )

He absolutely stands in line with Jeff Beck. Too bad hardly anyone knows him - heĀ“s more like a local 'hero'.

This name always alienates me. You know "kotzen" means "to puke" in german....

Not being German, or speaking German... I had no idea... Kotzen may not be to everyone's taste, but I doubt he'll make you puke... :p

Ulrich Roth
Gotta love his Sky guitar. Something like 40 fret. Most likely useless, but interesting none the less

I actually knew that, haha (I have an old friend who moved to Bonn a long time ago, and he taught me some of the german I didn't learn in school). I coulnd't carry on a conversation in German, however (not yet)

As for the guitar hero bit... He's probably more well-known than I realize, but I would say Gary Hoey. He's very talented on the guitar and isn't as abstract with his music as some of the more well-known virtusosos.

Bill Nelson - he played in Be Bop Deluxe - I think he still writes a Diary on the Net everyday.

There's some very creative guitar work on : No trains to heaven

Nice.
Kudos on your Leedogg vids. Your facial expression alone deserves some rep.
Keep it up.

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

I don't know if Jeff Beck qualifies, I mean, the guy is famous among guitarists but not so much a household name, but he's one of my favorites. I also don't know how many people recognize Brian Jones today, he was famous back then, but well I love that guy too.
