Hey folks, it's really posible I go to the states next month so I was wondering... any intresting places to go while I'm in Irvine California?

I live about 10 minutes from Irvine. There are two Guitar centers' very close by. One in El Toro and the other in Fountain Valley. There are some great gigs playing in July just minutes from where you are staying; Rush, Queens of the Stone Age, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, WASP, Chris Cornell............
Dream Theatre and Incubus also have gigs in LA during July.

Anyways, not really helpful, but I just wanna say. Guitar Center San Francisco. :eek: Phenominal. Requires an escalator to go to the percussion section on the SECOND floor. :eek:

Done deal, july 14 I'll be on my way to Irvine, so I'm heading to get to know california, Guitar Center at last!!!!, maybe we'll go to the orange county museum and some stuff like that, so tanks to everybody who gave suggestions bout my trip.

Yup, I also live about 15 min from Irvine. I'm in Foothill Ranch (north of Lake Forest). I was thinking of applying for a job at the El Toro Guitar Center as a matter of fact. I don't know how much they want you to know about guitars and gear to work there though. I'm assuming a lot.

The Orange County Fair starts july 13th (Awesome fair, Huge!!!!!!!!)
