Just a howdy from a new subscriber, and total newbie on the guitar. Well not a total newbie, but just about. I'm a 42 year old man near Los Angeles with 3 kids, wonderful wife, etc., who finally decided to do something about my dream to learn to play the git-fiddle. I currently have an acoustic guitar, sorry it's not here now, so I can't tell you the type  , but steel-string basic, and a Stagg g300 GC, which I love. I'll be working with the guitar player from the worship band at my church to learn basic acoustic stuff, and how to play the songs we play, but joined up here to learn some of the fun electric stuff.
I would ask, since I'm just beginning the "absolute beginner" lessons, is there anything on this sight showing tabs, etc. to contemporary Christian or Christian Worship music? Or if anyone has some suggestions on where to find that sort of thing, please let me know, as I'd really love to play a bunch of that (eg. Maranatha or Vineyard worship, old Petra, Phil Keagy, Stryper, Whiteheart, Casting Crowns, etc., etc., and soforth!!!!!
Well, gonna go ahead and see if I can learn something now. I look forward to corresponding with some of you. Have a terriffic morning, evening, whatever it is when you read this! ;)
