Tesla Love song is must.
ummm....how about...Mama I'm coming home? by Ozzy? I like it...not really an 80's power ballad, but close....
We've missed two super-dooper ones...:
Bon Jovi -Bed Of Roses
Def Leppard-Bringing On The Heartbreak

Yeah, but the piano part can easily be transcribed to be played on the guitar.

What about Slaughter "Fly to the angels'? (I think that's the name of it...I dunno... I was barely conscious in the Eighties...)

Hmmm... does GNR's "Patience" or "Sweet Child o' Mine" count as 80's? I can't remember when they came out. I get a lot of requests for Patience when I'm playing.
Has "Every Rose has it's Thorn" been mentioned yet? I believe that was the anthem of the 80s.
How about "When I See You Smile?" by Bad English or "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue?

Sweet Child Of Mine was on "Appetite" which would make it...1986 I think.
I dont know if Every Rose has it's thorn was suggested, but there was a "NO POISON" Rule
