I hear the best version of Vista is Home Premium (and I couldn't argue that for thats what I have). Everythign that works with XP is compatible with Vista (through Windows Compatibility). Like I said its a little tedious to approve everything but thats the only downfall I can really think of (heck, I tried installing some bad software once and I was getting the blue-screen of death since the program was only meant for Windows 2000... and the computer automatically put itself on system restore after three startups. How awesome is that?)

Vista is good for people who have no idea how to use comptuers, I find. I have an Acer notebook with Vista on it and it is a little tedious having to approve everything but ultimately I could not be happier with it. Plus my Acer has the 2.0G AMD processor, 120GB hard drive, 1G of RAM... an Apple Notebook I saw the other day had the same features but twice the price (and the usual MacOS drawbacks). Why would anybody want a Mac?
