Does anyone know the pros and cons of putting a back on an open-backed cabinet? I have a 2x12 open-backed Marshall combo, and am wondering if there would be any tonal benefit to enclosing the back.

In addition to other tonal characteristics, I was hoping this would also add more punch and bottom to my sound.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
