I started playing guitar when I was about 11 back between '99 and 2000. I completed a complimentary 6 week course at a school down here at the end of which is the expected "Okay, you've tied one of our instructors up for 6 weeks, now shell out or get lost." So my parents signed a contract and I took lessons there for about a year before breaking my arm (self taught after this point :\ ). However, when we signed the contract what came with it was a really nice Jackson guitar with a Floyd Rose system on it. At 11 all I knew was that it was shiny and it beat the hand-me-down acoustic they gave me to practice with at home. From what I can remember the manual and warrantee pamphlet called it a Jackson "Beast". In the last year I've yet to find a Jackson "Beast" anywhere. To me it resembles a Dinky, but it has Duncan Design pickups; two humbuckers at the bridge and neck positions....and a single coil between them. 5 position switch, one tone knob, one volume knob. What model guitar is this? I've been sifting through hundreds of pictures and adds and catalogs looking for this guitar. My guess is that it was modified before I bought it, but I have no way of knowing, and I'm honestly no expert in guitar styles. Any thoughts?
