There was an Airshow in the county next to mine where my parents have a small beach house at, Millville to be exact. There is an airshow through the whole weekend, so I went today with a freind of mine. Lots of stunt planes, f-16 crowd "buzzing" and the Blue Angels finshed the show.

So any of you guys ever attend these or have any coming up. I went to a few when I was younger and have seen the Blue Angels before, glad to see they'll learning new tricks. :)

I can never get enough of a silent incoming shortly followed by a sonic boom.

Edit: Oh, my dad was there as well and took some pics, I'll have to upload them and share some.

My cousin was (or is) a huge airplane freak. She took myself and my brother to the Winnipeg Airshow every year for a good chunk of our childhood. Then one year it got cancelled for some reason and we haven't gone since.

But yeah, I love the Airshow. It's great.

I've been to a few airshows, they're awesome. It's really interesting, checking out all the military aircraft. We don't tend to get a lot of jets at airshows in Australia, more old-school rotary engine aircraft like the Orion and the Caribou, but they did have an F-111 at the last one I went to. I'd be interested to see a US airshow someday, check out some F-15s stuff.

Being a former Airman myself, I LOVE airshows. As a matter of fact, when I was stationed in Korea, they gave me an incentive flight in an F-16. Most serious kick a** half-hour of my life!!!! Yes sir, I have gone faster than Mach-1, done loops, barrel rolls...etc. You cannot imagine how intense that is.

j.j., my first assignment was in Clovis, N.M. and we had nothing but F-111's there. Neat plane. We always called them Aardvarks - Flying Trashcans. Cool plane though. Heavily armed with the swept wing design.

I've seen the Thunderbirds several times and the Blue Angels a few times too. But if you want to see some serious flying, I went on an mock air battle deployment called Red Flag in Las Vegas for six weeks. Planes from all over the world came in an practiced air battles with MIG's. Amazing to see.

My dad and I used to go to every airshow that we could find. Seen the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds numerous times. They're always a blast!

I completly forgot about the Thunderbirds. When I was watching the Blue Angels, I was thinking to myself, "I though they had birds painted underneath the planes." I would absolutly love to go for a ride in one of those things, I envy you Hunter :p . I just woke up, so I'll grab the memory card off my dad and see abou them pics.

I saw the Blue Angels once and my dad's friend is a brother of one of the pilots so we got to get a photo taken with them. It wasn’t a real big deal to me though.

As another former AF dude, I've seen at least 10 air shows including the grand daddy of them all (AFAIC), the Air Force's 50th Anniversary Airshow in Las Vegas. I actually was brought in TDY for 4 months for that airshow (protocol officer). My job was to talk to the local casinos and hotels about hyping the airshow and arranging public transportation from the hotels to the LV Raceway, where they were bussed into the AF base. Rough gig... heh heh. For bragging purposes, I've flown in the backseat of both the 15 and 16 multiple times. :D

My best friend's an Airplane mechanic and consequently a huge airshow freak. He goes to some big airshow in Osh Kosh, WI every summer. I, on the other hand, am a bit of a white knuckle flyer. I'm getting a little better as I fly more often, but it's still not something I look forward to!

Haven't flown yet myself, don't know how I'll be. My dad use to fly when my older brother was little, but with the start of a family its get expensive. He renewed his not too long ago, so I'll have wait till he rents a plane.

Still workin on them pics, theres so damn many to upload on photobucket.

I used to work some air shows, and they were definately fun. Just curious, how much damage did the sonic boom cause? I remember having to replace quite a few windows the last time I heard one over land.

Finally got them up!

Click on View As Slide Show in the top right hand corner. They took forever to upload because they're were so many, and PB had to resize them all. I wish you could just add a folder instead of every single file.
