Course not. :D I just like knowing the details. I love the inner struggles. I just wanna know the outside environment. I wanna know Adam's coworkers too. Jimmy the sports nut, Hannah the girl who likes to collect troll dolls. Quinten the guy who wants to fit in but really can't so he tries to hide behind humor. He wears outrageous ties and tells the same wornout, lame jokes.

That's the kind of detail that keeps me interested. It helps me get into the mind of the main character. I know Jolly can create me some interesting characters. It's the only thing really lacking in these passages. Even in a short story just as this it can add depth.
