Well recently I've been stumbling on a LOT of guitar sites offering instant pro status... I already read the fret2fret thread and I was thinking that if anyone has bought any products from the following they could give me their experience and what the product was really like:

http://www.guitarcontrol.com/
http://www.playleadguitar.com/main.php
http://fret2fret.com/
http://www.fretmemory.com/

Do any of those products actually work?

Nope...

Fret2Fret just teaches you a memory trick to remember the order of notes around the frets. That doesn't make you a brilliant guitar player. The others? No experience of them, but there are no shortcuts... anybody selling one is likely to be a bit dodgy.

Try typing any of the product names into google groups - you'll find people talking about what a waste of time they were I bet...

Even if there was a magical prpgram that gives you instant pro status, I wouldn't want it.

These programs sounds like they promote laziness, and eventually failure.

If you want to learn the order of the notes, learn them. It ain't that hard. There's a few tricks anyone here could tell you that you don't need to pay $50 for a bogus internet promo to.
