Palm Muting

HI .. I'm currently covering Trivium songs but i can't seem to get the '0' p.m 's to stop ringing...How to i make my palm - mutings cleaner..?

by digging the side of your picking hand in harder. I tend to pivot on the side of my hand, and kinda get more of the meat on the strings to deaden them more...

The further away from the bridge you apply your palm muting, the less ringing you'll get. So the closest to the bridge you are, the more ringing you'll have.

Just lay your hand on the string and while playing that 0 P.M. , move around a around a bit to find the perfect spot.
