Any songs that get to you?

I got 3 that comes to mind.....
Wish you where here - Pink Floyd
The Dance - Garth Brooks
Hurt - Johnny Cash
Watched a documentry on Johnny Cash one day... I was like wow that dude has been through the ringer. Then 2 days later I watched the video of the song and it sent chills up my spine. That was (in my oppinion) one of the best remakes I ever heard.

Okay. There's this song called "Take Me Back To Your House" by Basement Jaxx that is currently rocking my basement soxx. It's a dance song (which I must confess is a style I'm starting to appreciate), but it actually has words and features some stringed instrument that sounds like a banjo but may or may not be. From where I'm standing right now, it's the most perfect song ever written. It even makes me want to - dare I say it? - dance.

Ummmmm... I just got a taste of it from the itunes prview. There might be something cool in the rest of the song, but from what I heard.... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!! But this is coming from the guy who likes Natasha Bedingfield, and now currently this spanish/Italian pop singer named Laura Pausini

I don't like at all Coldplay but I KNOW that "Clocks" is the saddest song ever, is so goddamm melancollic, so much that sometimes I dig on it.
And another that really gets me everytime but I don't hate the band is "Wish you were here" by Incubus.
And for really getting stuff worked in my mind "Be quiet and drive" of the deftones... it really makes you wanna grab a car and just drive...drive and don't stop...
Oh... a weird one... this one has made me cry a couple of times... Solitary Shell from Dream Theater's Six degrees of inner turbulence... killer acoustic track that always gets me.

Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.

That song gets to you on an emotional level? If so, lol. If not, pardon this interruption.

lets see:
Total Eclipse of the heart -Bonnie Tyler feat. Meatloaf
Push the button - The sugababes (its just so damn dancey)
I dont feel like dancing by The Scissor Sisters used to be one, but then I listened to the rest of their stuff and it turns out I like all of it.
Much the same with Christina Aguilera and John Legend.
There are many more...
ummm...lets just try and think this through...
Ooh, most of the Brave New World album by Iron Maiden is great, but I cant stand Iron Maiden.
Also, the new album by Afi is awesome, but Afi are pants

I'm a lot different than most people; the only emotion I really relate to music is that one of firey intensity, and that intro gets my blood pumping. ANd I take no offense to anybody saying I'm weird because I'd rather be weird than normal ;)
