Hey my band(funhouse) has just completed our first gig. It was at a school performance night we played three songs with a fair bit of jamming. The songs were
Tales Of Brave Ulysses-Cream
I Wanna Be Your Dog-The Stooges
Bike-Pink Floyd(we did a portion of stairway as the intro as there were many zepheads in audience)
It went very well and recieved good reviews and were in a euphoric state lol
Well yeah i'm going to sleep well tonight. lol
plus the debut of my Epi Sg Deluxe lol

HA! you did bike. thats such a fun song to do live. me and my bud kyle do a version for our gigs, sort of an acoustic folk-rock-reggae version, it sounds real cool. anywhoo.

way to go man. gigs are a ton of fun once you get out of places like schools and churches though man. clubs are a ton of fun to play at. work your way up man!

Is your name jack black?
For life is quite absurd and death's the final word, You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

Congratulations!

And any band that plays Bike live is awesome in my books! :D
(Except if Cannibal Corpse did it. I'd still hate them. But I'd laugh.)

Ha. Weird. I was gonna say the same exact thing. Until I scolled down the slightest bit to see that you already did. Not gonna lie... Tenacious D is AWESOME! Their first album is so well done. Every song on it rocks. I should probably check on this, but I have been told that Kyle graduated from Julliard at age 12. Sounds farfetched, but I honestly believe it, and if its true....
