yea, i understand. but keep in mind that just becasuse your working around a general melody, doesnt mean your just making a pop song or something. everything, even ambient music, has to go somewhere direction-wise. so maybe work in some sort of chord progression that highlights those alterned notes of the enigmatic scale, and work something out. woot!
