I use a Morely Bass Wah for my basses. I like Vox wahs the best so far as guitar wahs are concerned.

nothing compares to my sweet little cry baby by dunlop
i have the original model and it really kicks ass, as soon as you learn to control it and not just to jump from bass to treble..
all the good guys used the cry baby from hendrix to satriani, but if you dont like it vox of course is as good as any dunlop

I have a Jim Dunlop Jimi Hendrix wah which is nice for a slighltly more 'vintage' sound, but it is not as smooth as a vox wah. If you are looking for smoother tone control, go for a vox, but i am happy with my Jimi Hendrix for that Voodoo CHild kind of thing.

check out http://www.fulltone.com and take a look at the wah that the guy makes. He took a CryBaby and made several improvements, such as increasing the range of the potentiometer and making it with true full bypass switching. One thing though, his effects are very expensive, but it seems as if they are popular, if you see some of his testimonials on his site, from Eric Johnson and others.
excuse me, but i must kiss the sky

If your willing to pay $175 or so, get a Real McCoy Custom hand made wah. If you read reviews of them, you will find out that they totally blow away Dunlops, Voxes, Clydes, and any other kind of wah out there. Here is the site: http://www.realmccoycustom.com
