Hey guys, my guitar has recently started playing up a bit. I sent her in for some work on the finish, and apparently they had to remove some of the hardware when pollishing after all the work was done.

I dont think this is where the problem started, although it may be, there was certainly no problem before I sent her in.

Anyway, it seems that my tone control is working weirdly, instead of being the most treble-y at 10, it is most treble-y at about 6 or 7, and then rolls off anywhere past that, to become bassy again...

anyone know what could cause that? shall I just throw another pot in there and start again? or maybe it's a capacitor problem?
