Sound

Hey, fellas. Can anyone help me on this matter?I would like to get a sound of a guitar as close as possible at least to the sound of the guitar on the solo of Wind of change, by Scorpions.I like it a lot.I have an Ibanez RG 370 and GSA 60, which ever would be better.Laney HCM 30 and a Boss ME30.I mean, I am not very good at setting my sound... :o I had this guy set up my gear when I bought it and it stayed pretty much the same since then. But, like I saed, I really like the sound of a guitar on that song, so...If anyone has some idea on
how to set up my gear, especially the effect, I am all ears (eyes). So, if anyone can please help me??

Scorps use alot of chorus...
"Dammit Jim!! I'm a guitarist not a roadie...so haul my gear"

I'm half-way tempted to say neck-pickup.
I'm using crappy laptop speakers so this could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's lots of midrange to it (Although the same could be said for like, 99% of 80's rock-ballads).
I found a decent way to match tone (that all the regulars here will groan at my repeating), is to play your guitar at the same volume as you play the song over a stereo a little louder and just mess with the knobs until they sound the same (or similar)
